I like to use flat carbide cutters for some hollowing operations. Whilst the cupped carbide do cut faster, I like the fact that you can easily touch up the flat ones on a diamond stone.

My question is. What do you think the difference would be in :

1x of these at £20 Crown Carbide Pro Replacement Round Cutter

vs

1x of these at £22 Easy Wood Tools Ci0 Carbide Cutter - Round

vs

10x of these at £27 Round Carbide Tips Inserts Blades Chisel Cutter Wood Turning Lathe Holder Tool | eBay

(I appreciate the sizes are slightly different)

I would go for the 10 at £27 if I used Carbide cutters ( I don't use them never needed ) I can use all conventional tools.
