Hi
Any one got any ideas how to make a spot light with colours change by remotelephone control it is over my pond but would like to control it from indoors I have tried a range extender for remote which works but not brilliant has any one seen either some thing to operate the remote signal or failing that a light with built in remote strong enough to work at about 30 metres from indoors .
Any help welcomed
Pip

30m, long way for anything without wires.

you might just make it with RF but dowt it (way to much interference and not a strong enough signal)
you could possibly cobble together something with an ardunio or 2 but that 30m is still a very long way.
nothing UV is going to work.
or go all out, laser data transmission because, well, fricking laser. use a laser break beam and a bit of code to invert it, so it comes on when a laser hits it rather than when it doesn't.

or, timer switch. :)
