Record RPM75 Morticer

Has anyone who owns one of these upgraded the fence in anyway, or any benchtop morticer to be honet.

I haven't really used the morticer until the weekend and i find the fence is a bit of a weak point on these.

Unfortunately I have one of these morticers (wish I hadn't) and agree that the fence is useless and the whole thing is difficult to set up accurately. I've now given up using the thing but in the past I made a ply fence that I clamped to the base and used it sitting under the metal fence.
