When I got my lathe, I was also handed some shortish bed bars, a cast end stand and a bar clamping thingy that supposedly went with it.
Theres a chance they may have been from a different one though, they wern't all that sure what was what.

Not sure they are any use to me, cant see how they would have been used with the lathe I have.... I have an RPML300 which has a one piece cast base.....

Anyone know if the head or tailstock from mine can be used with a bar setup, rather than the cast base?

Not sure, without a photo, what you are describing, but this is a not too good photo of how my bed bars sit.

Ah, looks like it may be the same headstock casting, yours sits on an adaptor plate thing by the seem of it....
Cheers John.

So no, looks like they are not much use to me as is.

Anyone want them? (bars are a bit rusty)

well I would certainly be interested in the 'bar clampy thingy' if it's the bit on the top/extreme left of john's picture? ie the above bars bit.

problem is that even though it's the smallest and lightest bit I suspect postage would be expensive!

I shall get a picture of the bits, and see how much postage can be got for.......

Here is the bits, carrier would be £5.99.....(cheaper than Royal Ripoff at £12.30 )

If anyone wants them, cover the carrier, and they are yours.
