Just a small corner bookcase we had to whip-up as an addition to a library that we fitted a few weeks back...

Don't often work in MDF but know there's quite a few of you out there that do, personally don't like the stuff especially as my colleague is at present having some titanium pins shot into his neck due to unloading large sheets.

The carcass is 25mm and 18mm for the face frames etc...
Shelves are 30mm pine.

Hope this is of some interest...

Very basic build, think I'll let the pics' do the talking...

Merci..

i like that, double thickness sides. Looks good. Wouldn't want to carry it far, must weigh a ton!

Simple yet effective. Looks good Russ  I like the cornice shape. I take it theres skirting going around the bottom ?

Something tells me those boxes have the rest of his collection of Katie Price novels

Very nice, tho I echo the comments above, it makes my back hurt thinking about moving it ;)

V. nice. What's the span of the shelves in the library - looks a bit wider than I'd be comfortable leaving unsupported, particularly for bookshelves??

The widest is 1.8 long and their all supported through the back-panel with screws. Done a few libraries before and never had anything sag more than a couple of millimeters.. if that?

Cheers

Believe me, he's no Katie Price reader, unless she now specialises in war history, but I have my doubts

Very nice Russ i like the design espically the cornice and face frame grooves have joined all off it using the domino
