do qs planes have anything to do with the wood river brand
just i saw the canadian chap on youtube with a nice 4.1/2 that seems like a very nice tool
or have any of you had a wood river plane

I think they are WR but perhaps with a few tweaks depending on retailer. I'm pleased with my QS #4 and use it as a tru smoother. I also keep a regular #4 Record at hand for general work.

As Graham said they are the same just a different name. Same as the ones sold by rutlands and a few German tool shops.

Now do you have a link to that vid? I have been waiting ages for QS to make a 4 1/2 and 5 1/2. If they are we might have to pester Mathew :lol:
