Push Locks

I'm looking for a nice push lock for a large cupboard door. I have found some small ones on Hafele but the door is 38mm thick and i was looking for something that has a fairly large handle to it.

Has anyone seen any large versions?

i've looking but not what i'm after.

I'll try to explain a bit more. I want it flush fitting to the door. You press the inner section and a knob then sticks out that you then turn to open the door. When the door is shut, you push the knob back into it's flush housing.

It's for a cuboard next to the stairs and i don't really want a fit a mortice lock with an exposed handle.

ok andy i understand, but that is not what i understand to be a push lock.

i thought that you meant one of those where you press hard and the whole door moves, not the handle.

maybe looking up hardware on the web would help??? :lol:

What about the kind of handle that they use on squash court doors? Would that work?

Squash court handles are a D ring type handle that sits in a flush square housing plate. Not particularly attractive but functional. See here:

hi, the handles you describe I have seen in campervans, it may be possible to get them in the parts/equiptment store
