Simon,

My first purchase was this http://www.axminster.co.uk/product.asp? ... e=1&jump=0
it was very basic and a real pain for large panels. I purchased the Virutex which is really great for big panel, I did look at the ones you are looking at, but I felt they were fine for shaped panels but a lot of money for a bander that does not trim, if I was doing large amounts of edging I would look at one that edged and trimmed in one go and a power feed.

The thing is Paul I'm looking for something that will do 3mm abs, I don't have a huge throughput of this material so I'm looking for something that doesn't eat too much space (or cash).

Simon,

3mm ABS that's a different kettle of fish with very few options, one of those is a limited budget......Is there any chance you can sub it out ?

Yes I can in the main but it's good to be able to do the odd bit, addtions, samples etc. Also I worry about quality control when I sub out. This would still be a much faster way for me. I have looked at second hand banders but I would be looking at about 6K and they take up a lot of room for a machine that doesn't get used that much.
