Hi,

Just join here first post, but been lurking for a while normally do box work and inlays but sometimes venture into other things.

Currently working on a new project and looking for a 1/4" shank Plunge Ball Marble Storage Router Bit,

The only one I found is 1/2" one for US but they do not ship to UK or stock 1/4"

I can router track using with ball nose bit for the marbles but does not hold them on the track when the track is upside down.

Anyone know of UK source for Plunge Ball Marble Storage Router Bit or any alternatives?

Cheers

Would this do? https://routercutter.co.uk/plunge-cutting-ball-cutter
You'd need to route a slot first as it doesn't have the parallel section above the ball that the Rockler one does. Good idea to route a slot first with the other one anyway to give the ball cutter less work to do.

Rockler do ship to the UK, there were no issues getting one of their router table plates delivered. I couldn't find a blue plate anywhere else!

Trend also do something simular

Thanks everyone

Decide go with pcb1962 suggestion, I will be using router table so doing 2 passes with different bits should be straigh forward

Cheers
