Keep your eyes peeled skywards towards the NE between 1.20 and 1.35 as you might...just might although I think the topology might not be in our favour....and you will see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight en route to Fairford.

I'm doing a craft fair so can't attend unfortunately. Must plan next year's diary better!!! Hope everyone enjoys it.

Roger they have been scheduled in for 1.25 they are showing their support for Help Four Heroes :) GMC publications are also joining us with books from the tool shop and selling old magazines with all proceeds going to the charity.
Cheers Peter

Thanks to Peter and Sarah, a great day out (like last year!).

Highlights for me (in no particular order:
  • the students' furniture exhibition: including a dressing table my wife now covets (having seen my pics - oops!) and a three-player chess table that boggles the mind before you even move a pawn. Everything seriously well executed, and some really nice design too,
  • Sean Feeney's "Panga" table,
  • The new WoodRiver planes, especially the bevel-up smoother and the larger shoulder plane (well all of them really!),
  • Expertise and demos of finishing products and techniques - this is a weak area for solitary hobby woodworkers like me, so very helpful.
  • Peter's patience in answering endless sharpening questions!,
  • The Help-for-Heroes burgers :)

It was all thoroughly enjoyable, and I'm just as envious of Peter's beautiful location as last time!

Anyone else?

E.
