Just wondered if anyone can help...
I have had a CCBL Perform lathe for a few years - it's been fine till last week when the belt snapped. The instruction booklet has no size mentioned for the belt. The Axminster customer service 'download a manual' site has not got the CCBL - the nearest is the CCL. Axi have so far sent me belts for both and neither is the right size. There are no instructions how to change the belt. Anyone any bright ideas - I will call them again but that's twice now they've sent me the wrong one
Would love some help as I have 2 projects waiting on a a lathe
Cheers
Mark

Possibly it is it's an 0-560 (approx 595mm outer diameter) X 8.5-9mm wide.

That's what was fitted to my old Perform.

Thanks Chas
So far Axi have sent me a 0-560 and a 0-625 belt and neither fit. I wonder if anyone has exactly this model - the CCBL - who could look at what the belt says on the side of it???

Thanks alot

That 560 was for exactly the same lathe model.

Are you sure your pulleys are located correctly? locking screws not moved etc.

In what way does it not fit?

Unbelievable service from Axminster. Thanks Richard. Axi will continue to get 3/4 of my salad each month paid by DD!
New pulley block on the way - I will hopefully sort out later today
Cheers everyone

Just to update....
Has a nightmare - the variable pulley blocks had virtually 'fused to the shaft - they were so tricky to remover - so I ended up being unable to get all of it off - so I do now have a workable lathe but have lost the variable speed control at the moment - but thanks again Richard for outstanding customer service

I found that my old lathe needed a once a month service of the drive system to keep it sweet.
Remove dust and drive belt debris,
Check Head Stock Variable Speed Linkage for loose connections, locking screws etc.
Check motor shaft Inner Pulley for correct position. (inned flange grub screw tightness)
Lubricate motor shaft pulley system with grease (grease point in end of shaft)
Lubricate variable drive headstock shaft and linkage with Dry PTFE Spray lub.

Was still working fine when sold some 300+ turned items later.
