I like them all but your zebrano one's in particular.
I'm a fan of that wood.
If you cut across the grain about 15 degrees you get this sort of pattern
First one straight grain the second cross grain.

This one is laminated with Hawthorn, again cut across the grain, the ends are black Corian.
They are both Streamline pens, you can make your Slimline pens thicker by putting wider centre bands in them.

Looking at your pens shows the point i was making that others pens always seem to look better.
Great idea on the angle of cut will give it go next time.
