Parrot auger

I am an old newcomer, sold my lathe some thirty years ago but I am restarting again, I did have a parrot nosed auger but that went, Is it possible to get another?

Apparently refered to as a parrot or shell Auger, I found a "how to make a shell auger" item, I seem to remember my Father having something very similar, years ago in his turning days. Here's a link,

Sounds like the kind of thing that apprentices were sent to get from the store...two bags of parrot augers please and a skirting board ladder.

Just discovered that "Lamp auger" brings many hits.
