Hi Dick M, sorry to hear your'e a sufferer. Heres a useless piece of info for you, THe condition you mentioned 'Dupuytrens' is a genetic defect which skips generations and means that your blood line can be traced back to viking ancestors. The condition is specific to northern scandinavian's.

Aidan I must disagree with your statement I have done lots of training and research in this field. And also represented some 30 people who can no longer do there job due to exposure to too much vibration. Even a tool as simple as a makita jigsaw with a vibration magnitude of 12m/s2 has a maximum exposure of about 2 hrs of use in 8hrs. So if a person was to add up all the exposure from differant tools dureing a normal working day it would be quite scary.
