Can anyone tell me what the radius of an arc will be if the chord is 10ft and the height is 1 1/2 ins

approx 1200.8 inches (I think) i.e. close to 100ft.

Agree with that - 100ft as near as makes no odds.

There are other ways, that don't use trammels (or centres).

Yes that'd work if you can find two 10ft straight edges and some means of joining them at 1.432º making a 20ft bevel, and a big enough workshop to operate it in i.e. at least 30ft required. It might take 4 or 5 people to help you manhandle it.

To be realistic a 1.5" height arch at 10ft long would be barely noticeable and somewhat pointless, unless there is another non-visual reason for it.
