My Sedgwick planer won’t start. The switch has always been a bit vague. So, what is a good modern replacement with nice positive buttons please.

Before putting your hand in your pocket, have you cleaned and lubricated it.

I cleaned and lubricated the one on my table saw some months ago and it's been working fine since.

Not what you asked I know, but could be helpful.
