non stain countertop ideas

Hi, I have to make units for a hair salon and they keep/use bleaches and dyes on the counter. They don't want to use formica or glass on the top as there will be 2 waste bin cut outs in it. It measures 3000mm x 500mm. I've priced corian but I'd like to have a few more choices. Would anyone have any ideas for an inexpensive non stain top that will match walnut units. Thanks.

Good and Cheap... a difficult combination. Good.... stainless steel, slate, dark granite, glass, maybe zinc, maybe some laminates, maybe corian, maybe some pourable resins. Cheap... laminate kitchen worktop. Get a design change to remove the bin cutouts and it will reduce the costs for the better materials.

Use formica/laminate but make them yourself?? Plywood substrate, make the bin cut outs and line them with something then laminate the top and bottom and use a flush cut router bit to remove the waste.
