well lads i was very lucky on monday won an axminster solid beech workbench and 3 woodwork vices for£34.00
plus 2 record 48" sash clamps
i gave the bench to a good friend who is a professional knife maker .
i am going to make 3 seperate workbenches and sell them on this will be a winter job i dont no weather to do 3 the same or different .
ware i live we have an auction every tuesday and some weeks there is good timber to be had i go in and view on a monday and the auctioner will sell wood to me at a slightly higer price than the auction but i get the chance to sort out the best for me 3x 8ft x9" x1.1/4" for £10 or 4 lengths of oak 4ft x4" x1" for £5 all good timber and some weeks lots of woodworking handtools so i have got a good timber store overflowing just looking for some different ideas on the benches please :?:
