Hi all, me again.
Just wondering if anyone can have a quick look at image for me and tell me if it will be OK. I'm looking at getting the 6 & 8mm, the 6mm for my sled runners and the 8mm for the router plate extension and home made router table insert.
Kind regards
Lee

Unsure about PP.

UHMWPE PE1000 or PE500 would be my goto for the skids.
See here

For the router plate, alloy as plastic will sag over time with a weight hanging on it.
For a base plate extension I'd choose polycarbonate as it's near impossible to break, but will scratch.

PP doesn't sound a good idea, especially at that thinness for the plate. HDPE as above, but even that's flexible at that thinness.even 10 mm is easily bendy under moderate force.

Acrylic is more rigid at the same thinness, alloy more so again.

Have you thought about phenolic coated 3/4 ply for the insert, with a 3/8 rebate should be fine.

Runners HDPE again preferable. Alloy mitre bars are also getting cheaper and less work and stable too.
