Made this coffee table from a piece of yew i picked up at a wood fair for £20
Still a work in progress as the top still needs a final sanding
Legs made from oak spindles bought in B&Q

I think they're square spindles, otherwise known as posts :wink:
Jokes aside, table looks nice, lovely piece of yew 8)
 
Good old b&q for dodgy descriptions. They would appear to be newel posts if anything stair related
 
Got the wood from the queen Elizabeth county park event near buster hill its a country crasfts type event but lots of stalls selling wood
The table is 1.4 meters long by 0.4 meters wide (ish)
 
Nice table.

Re the fair - is ito n frequently? I looked on the Park's website but couldn't see it listed in the events.

I think its once a year
Though i bought the wood about 2 years ago only just got round to using it
