It's the same with some paints, in particular F&B, no dates, in the past anyway, but if you have a problem they ask you for the batch number,

I switched to Aerolite UP4145 One Shot and it’s been very good. Only problem is that the smallest size is 1Kg.

I have only just seen that Cascamite has a new manufacturer.
Has anyone used the new product?
Problems eliminated?
I have been using Semforite but I can't get used to the grainy texture.
I use it and after the disaster Polyvine made UREKA has returned to an older formulation... So far I have found it to be very good... I have made videos on it on my YT channel

I don't believe they are in any way connected, look at their website they have a long list of specialist products. I believe shelf life is a year.
They are not, I have many UREKA glues and so far everything is good... They sent me a a box of glues to test as I made videos about Cascamite and how it went to pot... I am very happy to say it's now back in the game... I bet Ureka has a lot of work to do to win back that reputation

I use it and after the disaster Polyvine made UREKA has returned to an older formulation... So far I have found it to be very good.
Just for reference, I bought a few kilos of cascamite last August and it very clearly states on the container that it is returned to the original tried and tested formula, and that it is made by Polyvine.
I had very constructive advice from their technical sales.

So are Eureka just marketing the initiative that Polyvine had already taken to revert the formula or have they changed the formula again ?

My application was such that it will take years for any defect in the glue to show up and the test pieces I made beforehand worked fine ....

They are not affiliated since 2nd May 2023. It will be interesting to know what the date of manufacture is on your tub?

The tub, Eureka, that I bought 2 days ago.

I'm in the same boat, haven't tried my sample tub yet though the other tub of jelly beans got snaffled by my granddaughter. I've had a'phone call and a couple of emails asking for feedback which is fair enough.

it came out fine, although it's been very cold so probably took longer to cure than normal, seems rock solid, the jelly beans that came with it were amazing as well.
