Need some help please

[CS Bespoke Furniture]

I have got a german router table called the Feider F15TPVS.

Its actually a pretty good table but it only comes with metric collects (6, 10 and 12mm). Router bits seem to be very rare in these sizes and now i need more i can't seem to find any.

So 2 questions -
1. Is there a collect that will fit this table to let it use 1/4" - Have tried to email the company but got no reply. Also have tried the triton collect but this is way too big.
2. Does anyone know anywhere to get router bits in 6 or 12mm shanks.

The name of the actual router is most important to find the correct sleeve.

Try slot drills, they are available in different sizes and 6 and 10mm shanks, I had some sleeves made so I can use them in my 1/2" router.

I have a solid carbide 1/4" bit that I just can't wear out.

They do! Will get me out of a tight stop for a while. Shame they don't do the 6mm ones.

That table is also sold under the Leman brand and they supply metric router bits http://www.leman-sa.fr/en/149-router-bits

You can also find them on e.g. amazon.de and ebay.de

shipping shouldn't be so bad on router cutters.

Yep, its in the name Slot Drill so they can drill and slot, end mills won't drill but will cut a slot.

They are really good on end grain, the spiral cutter leaves a very clean finish.
