N & N Coats, York

Has anybody had recent dealings with N & N Coats, Sandy Acres, Sand Lane, Wilberfoss, York, YO31 5PB?

I have tried calling a few times, but never get any answer. I wonder if they are still going...

Update: I made contact and popped along this afternoon. Well worth a visit if you are in the area- good range of native timbers, some burr planks and burrs for turning. I think that there were some turning blanks too- to be honest didn't look.

Do phone ahead to check the chap will be in.

The postcode is yo41, not 31.

Good to know the stock selection is good. I've got one of his leaflets on the noticeboard (which states at the bottom "Call first, I might be fishing!") and it'd be daft not to go have a look seeing as its about 6-7miles down the road!

Well worth a look. Plenty of oak, and elm. I got a bit if cherry although I don't think that here was loads of that and some walnut- not sure how much of that there was but certainly a stack he pointed towards.
