Hi all
I have recently moved into a new house and the shed in the garden is fantastically falling apart and I want to build a new one instead of paying someone to build one for me. I have all the tools and no plans. I have been looking around the internet for good plans but keep hitting walls until I found MyShedPlans, but I have seen lots of reviews saying it is great and then just as many saying is is a scam and all the plans are really bad. I was wondering if anyone on here has got the plans and what they thought? Other than that is there any advice on were to get any good quality plans, I don't have a lot of experience in big builds but like to get my hands "dirty" and try.

Thanks in advance
Peter

He is a well known rip-off merchant.

The plans he offers (at many different sites and using different names) he has harvested from free sites.

I recommend you simply search this site thoroughly. There are numerous complete WIP's on shed builds that often include detail documents on plans as well as of course progress images to help underpin the knowledge and skills of how the materials fit together. But far more useful than all of those is the fact this forum is a living encyclopaedia of knowledge that will adapt itself to the problems you encounter as you go forward. In other words, the folks here can answer all your questions as you go. Happens all the time and we love pictures.

I was thinking the same thing. I shall be building a shed in the next year or so and from this site I have gained loads of inspiration and confidence. Best of all there are folk able and willing to advise on designs and problems. For me, part of the pleasure is in designing something unique/custom.

Never needed plans. It's not difficult but I recon you lack confidence. Just build four stud walls from CLS or rough sawn timber and a few a frames and then clad it with red pine tongue and groove or cedar if your feeling flush. Sarking with felt, shingles or slates for the roof and some doors and windows paint it and you have a shed.

Your a big lad you can do it, loads of posts about it on here too.

Good luck (hammer) .
