Hi chaps,

I thought I'd show you my modest spray shop set up :lol:

My storage for finished funiture, I have 2 more bays in my main workshop for carcases and partially finished work

Looking good Doc. While we're on the subject, I wondered if you could recommend the best type of filter to use in a spray booth. I have the option of Pleated or Mesh types. I'm building my own booth and was just after the thoughts of someone with experience.

Yes the extraction is directly behind the booth.

I use pleated filters by Binks. The main thing is to get good airflow, we have a massive 650mm fan on the booth with a 4hp 3 phase motor on it.

One tip most people are unaware of is, whilst spraying you should stand slightly to one side of the work so as to avoid creating vortices in the airflow, it assists the finish but also reduces the fume levels around the sprayer.
