What about that ? Can be easily attached to a table with 2 clamps and holds your work pretty well. I used it to build a tool chest (ATC) and though it wasnt perfect, it did the job.

I went into my thigh a couple of months ago with a mortise chisel. I was kneeling on the floor as I was building a workbench so had no workbench. Needed stitches! All healed now just a scar.

I've told this story before. A neighbour who was a bit clueless does the usual Sunday morning stick a shelf up job, he's in his garage drilling holes with a B&D corded drill had no bench so sitting on a stool with the wood held between his legs, I'm sure I don't need to say where the drill bit ended up, lets just say if he needed a pee he'd have difficulty with his aim.
