Here's my bread board made from cherry, ash and walnut. It's 39mm thick.
I tried my first Dutchman out of cherry as well, because there was a big knot in the walnut. I think it was a bit big for a first one though.
What do you guys think.
Anyway here are some pics..

I like it, the joints look good as does the dutchman.

Jimmy. That's a good looking breadboard.

I have seen Norm make a dutchman before, he used a router and a jig. How did you do yours?
 
Thanks bob, I used a hammer and various chisels. I think norms way is quicker. The knot which was there was a right pipper to get clear.
