More pens, this time both of them as requests, the first one is a Ti Slimline
in Pink Ivory, this is for a Friends wife's birthday. The second I was REALLY pleased with after a lot of you suggested a cigar kit next. Here is my first one, really annoyed at not checking the photo before hand, as it has already gone to my Mum who is giving it as a present for an Uncles 65th.
Its Tasmainian Mrtyle Burr and I wish I had kept it for myself.

they look the dogs danglies matt, pleased you like the cigar, great pen to turn, also try the comfort pen too, without the rubber end though..

really nice Matt, particularly the Cigar.
Much better as a pressy though.
You can make one for yourself anytime, but to see the delight in someone's face as a present gives one much more pleasure.

(Even more pleasure than when you sell one)(Almost)

That's the thing with pen turning, they are so collectable.
I have the same issue where I make a pen then show it off to SWMBO and it's gone - Always a birthday or other celebration to have a "gift" made. But as John says, it's great to see your work admired and that "feathering the cap" feeling.

Really like the Burr, one pen this particularly suits is the Fountain pen. there are many kits out there, but a good starter is the Traditional from http://theturnersworkshop.co.uk.
