Greetings, oh sage ones.
I’ve been interested in making a mitre jack for a while, and while‘surfing’ for information, I have seen several mentions of a plan in ‘the Cornish Workshop’. Unfortunately that site seems to have closed down, and indeed the domain name appears to be up for sale.
Can anyone suggest where I might find this plan?
Many thanks.
Austin

Try searching with the US spelling, 'miter', as that might find extra information.

I had to look up what a "Mitre Jack" was, every day is a learning day, even at 75. 🤔

George Ellis has this shown in his book Modern Practical Joinery, Though don't be deceived by the title , as this was published in 1902. :giggle: In this he calls it a Screw Mitre Shoot.
Charles Hayward has it listed as a Mitre Shooting Block in a much later publication.
