Microsoft 'to patch or not to patch'

If like me, you are fed up being a beta-tester for all those Microsoft patches then this little site is a gem. It tells you whether or not the patch is a turkey and whether or not you should wait for a patch for the patch before installing it.

Sensible folk turn off Automatic Update :twisted:

Thanks for the link. I do find it a bit alarmist but I was bitten by the Verclsid bug and it frustrated me for a while.. So, on the whole I think this is useful site but I would rather err on the side of the angels(?) and install the updates sooner rather than later and hopefully thereby keep the real nasties at bay.

Is that a typo Chris? Google has no results for Verclslid. How did you get infected? Just curious to know if it slipped through your AV software or found another route

Roger, it was slight typo, now corrected - it is talked about here and was a bloomin' nuisance to me.
