I was in a tool shop in Edinburgh today, and after some haggling managed to get a Metabo (Elektra Beckum in old money) DH330 thicknesser for £290 including VAT and the folding stand for it, which goes for £100 on it's own! I'm reasonable sure I wasn't supposed to get the stand, the sales guy seemed pretty lost and just told me to take it! Anyways, gloat over....
