May challenge??

I had always assumed that entries were posted up on the Saturday so I got caught out by the dates for this one as the thread is locked already, I should have checked. Frustrating because I spent today making my entry! Ah well.

This was to be my effort at any rate, Beech Plate, Holly egg cup and Olive Ash egg. sealed and finished with MC wax.

It fits best upside down D, it's a bit long for the cup pointy end down though.

I love the beaded transition Kim. Did you use a beading tool for that or freehand it?

Yeah, mine still wouldn't have been ready today. I could post it up with the broken glass I suppose, but I would prefer to complete assembly with the replacement when it comes.

Love the bead inside the plate.

I turned the bead with a 3/8 gouge sharpened along the lines of Cindy Drozda's.

Next month I will look at what days the submission dates actually fall on!
