Has anyone had experience of turning Mangowood?
A friend of mine was going to dump an old coffee table today, so it's now in my garage :)
The legs are a bit knackered after his dogs chewed on them a bit, but there are 2 big slabs making up the top, each about 5 ft long, 13 inches wide and 2 and a half inches deep.
Seems like to good an opportunity to turn down ( no pun intended), but wondered how this stuff turns before I start taking it apart and cutting it up!

I have heard people turning pens from it. So no harm turning say the legs and make something small from them before trying the nice thick slab. To be on the safe side wear a mask and have dust extraction on if in any doubt if it is harmful when being turned and sander
