Maintenance of Bison Wax

I recently restored an interior windowsill for a neighbour by going back to bare wood, then appyling a dye followed by 3 coats of Black Bison Wax. Looks really good.

My question is; how should this be maintained?

My gut feel is just to clean with a duster, but the neighbours SWMBO wants to know if she can use something like 'Pledge'. :shock:

i would avoid pledge because of the silicone content. Apparently that can make the wax appear cloudy. I would persuade her to buy a small pot of bison herself- neutral or clear, and use that once in a while.

I also use it for coating blades to stop rust.
