Mathias again! Genius or mad Professor. I dunno, but his channel is always interesting.

I have an old Stanley-Bridges drill, which years ago suffered a broken cooling fan. One of the vanes had broken off, and as the Engineer said, it actually turned the drill into a siren. I seem to recall he explained that a siren howls because of the wider spacing between the vanes. Dunno if that's so, but there you go. My drill howled. Deafening. I could've fitted it into a circuit for an alarm I think! :lol:

The drill still works fine sans the broken fan of course.
