I noticed that you have been discussing a Lurem C210.
I have a 1982 Lurem C210B which I am going to sell. I could put it on ebay as I have a van to deliver at cost, however, I don't really want to be hassled by a load of scammers.
I bought the machine 2 years ago for £1600. My wife was thinking of having a go at woodworking/joinery and the machine was being sold locally so I could collect. Unfortunately, the missus was not impressed by having to change belts, and has steadfastly refused to use the machine!
The machine was given, as a retirement present, to the former head of Magnet joinery in 1982. It was owned by this gentleman until his death in the late 90s, then it stood unused in his workshop until his widow died in late 2004. It was sold by the widow's son who had to clear their personal effects.
The motor runs the table saw; which is the only thing I have used. There are several attachments which allow the full range of functions. There are also 2 packets of new blades (about 50 in total) for the spindle moulder. There is a manual.
Anyone any idea of the value? (I was told about £1200 to £1500 by a joiner who worked on the house, but he did say that this was a rough estimate.) We will probably replace the machine with separate tools when we have finished building our house this summer and can turn the garage into a proper workshop.
Please look at
www.timval.com if you would like to see what we have been up to on the house build.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
