Does anyone know if they still make a drill with a forward and reverse just using the trigger switch? I had one many years ago when I was doing my apprenticeship/

how do you make it reverse? push the trigger forwards?

Never seen one of them things.

Years ago I used to use an electric tap driver, that had some sort of two way clutch, so that when you pushed it drove the tap clockwise, and when you pulled it wound it back out again. Easy way to break taps, but pretty handy if you've a lot of holes to thread.

Look up on youtube look for mikes wood shop and the clip called update of my shop. Will explain what I mean.

I have a snap on 14.4v 3/8" impact gun that works like that.

Aldi were selling 3.6V drivers 3 months ago with the trigger you describe. I bought one in fact for light duty work because they weigh next to nothing and have great Torque. Very handy for driving screws above head height. Didn't check their drills though.
