Hey, Gang

I have some clocks movements I bought a while ago and I have saved for "just the right project". I now want to make a desk set (clock & pen/pencil holders). But where do I go to find the little holders to attach to the base - and the pens and pencils? And preferably not something Chiwanese or I could buy a cheap desk set and cannibalise it. :)

Something like this but without the base, of course.

Any ideas where these can be obtained? I checked through all the hobby/craft suppliers I know of and nothing.

Thanx

Axminster sells them, Craft supplies also.
They call them pen trumpets. If you want to have the pen coming out of a block of something you'll have to attach the trumpet to it or make that yourself methinks

Thanx, mates! Half the problem of finding something is knowing what it's called to begin with. I never would have thought of "pen trumpets"! I'll post pics when it's finished. :norm:
