sounds good, but I don't trust Lidl when it comes to appliances...

i do trust them. keep the receipt, and there will be no question of a refund should it fail within the guarantee period. cant ask for much more than that.

Bingo! I buy appliances/electrical goods from places I know will stand by the warranty with no arguement - which rules out some of the big chain electrical retailers.

+1 I've known stuff to be taken back two and a half years into a three year guarantee and the moneys been refunded.

I've bought appliances from Lidl once... and won't do it again in the foreseable future. I'd rather keep a working microwave than having to run back and return it. But that was bad luck I guess, it could as well have been a reliable microwave...
Anyway, Lidl botched its chance to impress me... :mrgreen:

I don't need the vac but have had some good buys in the past.
