Beech handles shock the hands less than Plastic.

Beech is fine - the only reason I passed comment was because they have been ash and hornbeam in the past.

Which of the three is better, though?
I've no idea which I have on my current ones (from last year's offering), but there is a Lidl bit (little bit, geddit?) of shocking when chopping mortises and the like...

I'll probably buy a pack as spare, anyway, though.

Edit: Or maybe not, since the ¼" one on their website looks really wonky!!!
