Lervad technology bench side vice.

Good morning! I am renovating an old Lervad Technology bench which has an end vice (working) and side vice (part complete). The side vice has 2 clamping sections operated by the one screw thread. My question is : what is the maximum size of material that can be clamped or the thickness of the wooden jaws? Thanks.
