Wanted lathe sharping

Hi all l am looking to buy something to sharpen wood lathe chisel`s anybody selling anything?, something on the cheaper side thanks new to lathe turning

I gave a cheap grinder which I should be able to get soon. Bradford based.

It will be difficult trying to do this free hand , You need some sort of jig , If going along the bench grinder route try and get a slow speed grinder , Normal bench grinders run faster causing the chisel tips to over heat and turn blue , Are you buying carbon steel or HSS tools ?

It's not the grinder that makes chisel tips to overheat; it's the person holding the chisel!

It happens faster with a std fast bench grinder and slower with a slow speed one
