Last Christmas Present

OK not fine woodworking.
At last the very last Christmas present that I needed to make this is for one of the great grandsons who is made on Banger racing.
Made from MDF and pine the track was painted with artist acrylic. I fitted pads under the track draw to protect the top.

The track can be placed on top for playing with or slide back into the storage slot and the top used for other activities.

The first picture was my rough drawing and the last is where they are ready to race.

The measurements are 3’ 6” X 2’ X 1’

That's very nice, I like the way it can be put away when not in use.
I take it the two cars are remote control?

Thank you Waka originally they wanted the track fitted to the top and a blank draw unit. After a quick explanation to say at least when it is not used the top can be used as a drawing station they liked the idea. Also I said about making a pit type area so that it expanded what his imagination can come up with.
The cars are not remote controlled
