Kity 619 and kity 635 planer/jointer potential purchase

Hi everyone that you will hopefully help me rest at ease and buy these two machines!


A kity 619 table saw and 635 jointer combo. $1000 for both. I need a belt for the jointer and I'm concerned about buying parts. As is I'm having a hard time getting a lead on getting parts. I would feel better knowing I can. I believe the machine is 15+- a year. They have kitty's logo on the spec plate of the machine and the scheppach Company logo on front of machine.. The both are rusting minor on all shinny parts like the planer drum etc but beds metal housing are in excellent condition. I hope all that makes since, I just want to be sure of what company I can call and get parts

The kity stuff is quite well regarded over here in the UK, but I think you will have a battle getting parts. Even in the UK, it is getting harder, and some bits are not available, although things like belts/bearings may be available from specialists. Kity is no longer in business.

I would have thought that you could buy something better for your money in the USA, given the relatively lower prices on tools.
