Kitchen cabinet leg spacing

Hi Folks

Again! Managed to biscuit join my first carcass together just now, think I will gather momentum but I did get in a bit of a muddle when glueing!!! Anyhow I'm not sure on the correct measurements for the legs (to allow for a kick board/plinth with one integrated appliance too. I know to overlap the leg with the sides but not any other measurements!!! Can anyone answer my question?

Oh and where do the legs go on the larger carcasses? I have three 800's annd one 1000, one being a kitchen sink.

Hi Leo,
Draw a line 65mm from the front of the carcase and fix the legs to this line,do not come over the line.You can set the the legs back a bit further if you want more toe space.Larger units 800 & 1000 you can fix a leg in the center .

Thanks Peter. So do I center the front leg on the 65 or use the edge of the fixing plate as my reference?

Hi Leo,
place the front edge of the fixing plate to the line,when the plinth is fitted you will have a 50mm toe space.

Fwiw I put all my kicks 10cm back and sometimes I still kick then. Set up a test and try it out.
