Slap on Liberon, buff it off and leave. It fills up the pores in the cast-iron, and it's easier to buff it off when you apply then 3 cold weeks down the line? In any case who wants to spend time buffing when there's wood to be cut? But then my machines tend not to stay idle for that long.
