I'm going to make a little under stairs door next week. I thought I may just pick up some standard red wood from my local build center to use. It will be gloss painted - I was wondering if this stuff would be ok. I suspect it'll need a run through the P/T before use but thats ok. Any advice for this - be great if the door had the grain effect that the fake doors have - would poplar be a better option?
