I've lost my remote so cant switch on the filter. However in the manual it says there is a manual switch, I cant find it so im guessing they might have removed this feature.

Does anyone know if their unit has the switch? Maybe i just can't find mine =(.

Can't recall if mine is Jet or Axi model, but it has a control panel on the back of the unit that can be used instead of the remote ?

Cheers, Paul

The Jet AFS-500 Air Filter has two manual push switches just above the point at which the mains lead enters the unit.

The physical switch buttons are ‘hidden’ by a flexible membrane, but their positions are indicated by black circles printed on the membrane. One switch is marked ON/OFF and the other SPEED.

Ah those were the right buttons. I just had to take the membrane and circuit panel off order to make the buttons work, unfortunately i think i tripped the fuse as i touched the panel and got a small shock off it. Now it wont respond despite me pushing fuse plastic thingy back in. I might have to buy the controller and see if it works then. Very annoying.
