I'm a fan or irwin tools as they have always been of excellent quality and got loads of them myself.
My trusty old Retractable Knife finally gave up and I wanted a new one, did a quick search and found one from a brand I know & like and so I ordered it.
Today it arrived and It's certainly ''as good'' as you would expect a knife from poundland to be,except it didn't cost a pound and it wasn't a poundland brand.
-the design of it is just riddicilous as in hard to hold in hand&use
-the blade retrace mechanism is so badly made that it's a hassle to set it in position, the knob also rubs in your hand.
-there's a HUGE play in the blade once its set,as in you won't be able to use it if you want to use it do so something very precise.
-To open it up and change the blade is almost impossible, its easy to open it but almost impossible to close it due to very bad design.
wanted to post this so this gets indexed by search engines and if someone comes upon this and thinks about buying one - Please don't!
No need to reply to this thread really.
