Found a small inca locally for sale with a 1hp motor, I beileve they only have a 150mm depth cut, would this be enough to warrant purchasing it ? I was holding out for a minimum of 200mm but I do have the use of a 400mm monster at a mates unit should I ever need it :D

I love Inca bandsaws. I bought my first 25 years ago from Alan Holtham, as I was looking for an accurate machine. I am a violin- and bowmaker, and used it to cut 1 mm veneers 4" deep. It is absolutely magnificent.
Unfortunately the motor failed last year, and I rigged up a pulley system with an old Myford motor but it was not a patch on the original. I bought a second-hand machine on e-Bay from a nice lady in North Wales and cannibalised the two. If I ever find another I will buy it as a spare!
I also recommend the TuffSaw blades.
